                 and then, with time, the Wine might turn into a wonderful Vinegar !

… isn’t it the WATER that changes everything,
                                                    keeps everything alive,
                                                                         going and ‘flowing’…

 

 

The problem with our civilization is that we are trapped in a belief system or ideology that is deeply rooted
in an abstract thinking pattern that might have worked in a technological sense – way back then – but has
failed us significantly in every other area, from socio-ecological cognition to the maturation & development
of our economic sense & sapience.

Socio-ecological cognition is the study of how people think and interact with their social and physical environments.
It combines social cognition, which is the study of how people process social information, with the socio-ecological
perspective, which is the study of how people are affected by their social and environmental interactions.

Explanation :
Cognitive ecology: the study of how cognition evolves and is shaped by the environment. It combines
ideas from cognitive science, evolutionary biology, anthropology, and ecological psychology.

Social cognition: The mental processes that allow people to interact with others, including perceiving,
interpreting, and processing social information.

Socio-ecological perspective: The idea that people are affected by and affect a complex range of social
and environmental interactions.

Socio-ecological psychology: The study of how people adapt to their physical, interpersonal, economic,
and political environments.

As we created a world of delusion with ‘true’ values and ‘laws of stability’ by applying
strict outlines & time-frames to the ‘matrix’, the logical fallacies and cognitive biases
of these dichotomous bifurcations corrupted our way of thinking and ‘contaminated’
our ‘common sense’.

 

 

 

This ‘Transcription‘ or alteration of our multisensory perception, manipulated our collective consciousness
and indoctrinated us with some bipolar ideologies of a ‘monotone’ & linear-hierarchic world order that
fractured our whole socio-ecological coherence & harmony.

 

 

The redefinition of Life & Reality, with all its Law & Order of ‘appropriation’, now ‘set-in-stone’,
prompted all kinds of psycho-physical dissociation & fragmentation; Separating our emotions from
‘rational intelligence’ rendered us social-emotional illiterate & incompetent, caused a profound
socio-ecological desensitization and turned us into a now incongruent species.

There’s no doubt, algorithms became the key to the technological rise of our species. But, with its
abstract nature we created an artificial world that affected not only our environmental perception
and the way we thinking but also redesigned & altered our intellectual matrix, our ‘Intelligence’.
Now we find ourselves living in a fantasy world of our own construction and all the fallout of this
socio-economically ‘engineered’ figment where values and meanings lost their socio-ecological
foundation & relevance, and became fallacious in terms & conditions.

That’s where we need to ‘tackle’ the ‘whole issue’ linguistically, analyze the etymo-logical
meaning and ancestral ‘sapience’ behind the logistics and the terms that shape our existence
more than we are aware of.

So, what do we mean when we talk about Change,
and what does ‘Change’ really means in the socio-ecological
context of a non-linear, non-hierarchical world ?

 

Synonyms for change: adjustment, correction, development, difference, modification, modulation, mutation, permutation, PROGRESS, revision, shift, switch, turn, variance, etc.
In contrast and in our dichotomic, dualistic fashion we have the
Antonyms of change: fixation, solidity PERMANENCE, stability, etc

If we think of change in terms of shifting, we need to understand that in ecological sense,
or real life, there’s nothing to ‘return’ to, no new beginning or karmic rebirth to fall back on.

All attempt to ‘go back’, return to better ways or times, ended up to be just a repetition,
revanchistic and reactionary in character and deed.

The term ‘Change’ belongs to an abstract, dichotomous concept that distinguishes between moving,
continuing, evolving, going into the future or the ‘Next’, and an ‘arrested development’, a still, stop or ‘Halt’ (HLT).

 

 

 

Heraclitean Flux: “no man steps in the same river twice!” – Existence is perpetual becoming.

 

 

 

All these assumptions are fictional & artificial, – conditions & provisions created by human ingenuity;
Though they might have been inspired by environmental phenomena, they have little or nothing in common
with the natural processes of our ecosystem.
This disconnection from our natural habitat got us into a economic conundrum that still remains
the greatest enigmatic to our anthropocentric perception and belief system.

 

 

Those abstract ideas and experimental constructs originate in the linear-hierarchic worldview of
the neolithic age – our ‘Biblical Times’ – when hunters & gatherers sought out their ‘Promised Land’
to settle and cultivate their farms.

The ‘Genesis’ of Appropriation & Monoculture began with lines ‘drawn in the sand’ and laws ‘carved in stone’.

 

 

Linear Concepts and the notion of Time

 

The observations of planetary cycles and
biorhythms introduced the notion of time
to our geometric definitions & concepts,
added a fourth, temporal dimension to
the spatial structures & layouts.

 

 

 

 

We then divided, or segmented this dimension into identical portions – equal and analogous sections,
sequences, and cycles – to track & measure tangible & intangible processes:
the unfolding of physical phenomena and the evolution of the spiritual.

     

 

By charting, depicting, or illustrating this movements in numerical sequences, we are now able
to visualize and ‘read’ these motions or progressions through what we call Takt, Beat ♫ or ‘Timing’.

To make the continuous flow of movement and the abstract idea of time more comprehensible, relatable,
andtangible, we merged our linear concepts with that of a ‘moving’ Sun Wheel or Dharmachakra.

 

 

The etymological significance
lies in the em-phasis from Greek ‘em’ – in
and ‘phasis’ – appearance (of a star,
sun or moon phase), 
on ‘moving’ or the ‘movement’ !

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

From Hourglass to Spacetime
– mapping Time through Motion –

 

To capture such phases, cycles, rhythms or terms – and to mechanize our ‘keeping’ of time
– the wheel served as a model.
That’s where we made the ‘time-line’ loop around in a circle, linking the two endpoints
and dividing the ‘rotation’ into equal segments with diametrically opposing ‘spokes’.

‘Transcribing’ or braking down continuous motion into measurable, sizable and countable units
became ‘our’ time on chronometers, watches and clocks.

 

 

From microseconds to light-years, time is just an abstract tool: a chronological order or framework
trying to ‘untangle’ & manage the fluidity & dynamic of relationships & involvements,
of movements & fluctuations in all the vast correlations & similarities in life.

Yet in itself, Real Time remains to be relative and intangible.
It is slippery, flexible & dynamic, it is like the natural rhythm
of seasons, tides & currents.

 

For Kabbalists, time is a paradox and an illusion.
The Greek language denotes two distinct principles, where 
Chronos refers to numeric, or chronological time, and
Kairos to ‘the right or opportune moment’, relating
to a metaphysical or ‘Divine’ time;
Kairos is qualitative, as opposed to quantitative.

Time is the invisible space between events,
the ‘Beginning & End’ of a segment of motion.
Timing is the changing beat of a drum or the pulse of a heart,
it is the turning of the seasons or the rhythm in music;
it is the frequency in energy and the wavelength in light,

~ Time is Sound, Color & Thought ~

and now ‘Time is Money’

 

 

 

The Whole is never Complete,

Water is synonym for Life,
for transforming quantity into quality,
Changing quality into quantities !

 

 

Across all philosophies and religions water is revered for its complementing, adaptive & transforming nature.

Washing with water is cleansing and purifying !

Yet, we commodified this sacred resource. Together with every other living thing, we subjected its life-sustaining
and rejuvenating ‘hydro-energy’ to the pipe-dream of appropriation, algorithmic control and engineering;

This mindset originates from a deeper fallacy: the misconception that ‘change’ and ‘motion’ are
a homeostatic processes that ultimately provide us with a ‘CONSTANT BALANCE’ – the concept of consistency
where everything pivots or revolves around the certainty of ONE God’s unchanging ‘nature’;
This illusion of a ‘constant flow’ established a calculated exchange of qualities & quantities, a world where
we trade ‘One thing for an Other’ and try to ‘balance the books’ of our economies.

Now, as we run out of quality water, out of wine, and out of this very ‘magic’ that transforms everything,
we are stuck in the conclusions, restrictions and limitations of our own Creation !
Sustainability has been reduced to a synonym for a constant & consistent ‘Repeatability’

But, trapped in the stratifications of our linear-hierarchic worldwiew,
we completely misunderstand water’s symbolism.

Its true power is not mere circulation, it is the dynamic, transformative force of Hydro Power itself.
From rain, snow, and glaciers to springs, rivers, and ocean currents, water moves in global ‘cloud networks’.

This is not ‘small-change’ – not just ‘flipping a coin’ to see the ‘backside of the same medal’,
nor throwing a dime into a ‘wishing well’, hoping for bigger or better things to come.

This is a force that moves mountains, reshapes continents and alters everything on this planet.
Not over & over again in a cycle, but on & on in a trajectory !

 

Therefore, the real eco-dynamic of ‘Change’ is not homeostatic but homeorhetic:
a state of dynamic flow where all phenomena enfold and extend in a projectile motion,
following an irreversible trajectory rather than a repetitive, rotary or circular motion !

 

 

Algorithmic logic – as exemplified by AI – is inherently finite and recursive, constrained by design.
In contrast, socio-ecological reality exceeds perception: it is dynamic, multidimensional,
and irreducibly sympoietic – a co-creative unfolding that resists reduction.
